We are missionaries to Guatemala with CAM International. Working with the Maya-Tzutujil in Bible Translation & Leadership training in Santiago Atitlan. We are all adjusting to a Great life in Guatemala!

I decided to join the bloggers!!
I have been reading your blogs & comments for a while now. You've made me laugh, cry, ponder, pray & Praise the Lord. I need friends right now even if it is through the blogging world, I know I will enjoy it.
Hi Daphne! Let me introduce myself. My name is Marsha Harwood and I live in NC. My daughter Missy Lowery went to school with Abbey and the gang at SEBC. Do you know her? I saw your post on Abbey's blog and thought it was a "newbie" so I thought I'd check you out. When I saw you were also "newbie" missionaries my heart just leaped for joy, and yet ached for you and your family and extended family. I understand the feelings very well. My other daughter, Laura, is a missionary in Kenya with her family. They have 3 little girls - #3 is actually about to be born any day now and I don't know when I'll get to hug her and cuddle with her. When I looked at your children's picture I lifted a prayer for their grandparents. Oh how there hearts are torn, I know all to well. Laura's oldest will be 6 in January. She was 4 when they left. After a month she said she wanted to go back to her real home now because she missed her family too much. She too was afraid we'd forget her. I look forward to following your ministry and I promise to be praying for you all - especially during this adjustment time. Please feel free to peek into my blog anytime.
